The Water Flow Sensor is a device used to measure the flow rate of liquid in a pipeline or system. It typically consists of a small turbine wheel or paddle that rotates as water flows through it. The sensor generates electrical pulses with each rotation, allowing for accurate measurement of flow rate. The Water Flow Sensor is commonly used in applications such as water supply systems, irrigation systems, and industrial processes to monitor and control the flow of liquids.

        Usage

        • Power Supply: Connect the VCC pin of the sensor to the 5V pin of the microcontroller or power supply.
        • Ground: Connect the GND pin of the sensor to the ground (GND) pin of the microcontroller or power supply.
        • Output Connection: Connect the signal output pin (typically labeled OUT) of the sensor to a digital input pin of the microcontroller.
        • Interrupt Handling (optional): If required, configure the microcontroller to use an interrupt to count the pulses generated by the sensor for accurate flow rate calculation.
        • Calibration (optional): Calibrate the sensor based on its specifications and the specific liquid being measured (if necessary) to ensure accurate flow rate readings.
        • Coding: Write the microcontroller code to read the pulses from the sensor, calculate the flow rate, and perform any desired actions based on the flow rate values.
        • Testing: Pass liquid through the sensor and observe the flow rate readings or trigger actions based on the measured flow rate.
